Salesforce in Claude ships as a plugin with 37 prebuilt sales skills - meeting prep, deal health review, and pipeline review among them - that let sellers and agents reason over live revenue context, automate pipeline updates, and take governed action without leaving Claude [1]. It is live now for pilot customers, with an open beta planned for September 2026 [2]. The reverse integration runs just as deep: Claude becomes the reasoning model behind Agentforce's Atlas Reasoning Engine, the default model for Agentforce Vibes and Agentforce Coworker, and is deployed through Amazon Bedrock inside Salesforce's own trust boundary [3]. Salesforce's own promotional videos illustrate the pitch: 'Welcome to Claudeforce' follows a sales rep's Monday, with Claude reading signals across pipeline, accounts, conversations, and activity to surface stalled deals ('hasn't moved in 2 weeks'), then building a plan, updating pricing, tailoring a proposal, and drafting a customer note - positioned as 'your own AI CRO.' A companion demo video goes further, showing a deal stalled two weeks with a CFO sponsor gone quiet: Claude reaches across Salesforce, Slack, and email to find 'every angle,' devises a re-engagement plan, drafts a customer note with pricing, and auto-updates the CRM record. On X, one widely-shared technical breakdown offered a different read than the press-release language: this converts Salesforce's Headless 360 API layer from developer infrastructure into a consumer-facing front end - an architecture shift that frames Claude, not the Salesforce UI, as the new point of contact for sellers.
